J. D., you wrote, "If you require earthly validation for your faith, you will not make it." What do you mean by that? (I suspect that I agree, but I'm unsure. Certainly I wouldn't want to say that faith is blind.)

Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
(John 20:29 ESV)

"Faith is a bold dare on the promises of an unseen God". How true this is. How vital the need to "be drawn to God", to be in communion with God. Ever mindful of his Holy Spirit.

In Romans 1, Paul states that "all have been made known". Speaking to the knowledge and existence of God. While John , quoting Christ states, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him...."
(John 6:44 ESV)

I agree, Faith is Bold. It is a bold response to a Holy and Just God. HOW we respond is that risk we take!

For me it starts with living one life, being in constant community. Prayer, fellowship, more prayer. Being ready for God to grow and stretch me. Especially when I do not think I can flex anymore.

Thank you Pastor J.D. for being a bold voice for Christ.

So Others May Live,
JG
