The kind of people we don’t mind losing…

Got this email and wanted to share it.

I just wanted to write you all to thank you for your leadership here at the Summit church. You have influenced my life greatly while I’ve lived here in NC, and have added to my walk with the Lord in many ways. I have learned more from the Summit about what grace is, what God’s love is, and what it truly means to live out the gospel daily.

So in light of all I’ve learned here, I have decided to move back up to New Hampshire to a place about an hour from where I grew up. There are soooo many lost people in New England (statistically it’s an unreached people group, so I hear), and as much as I love being a part of the Summit…it also breaks my heart knowing our church is probably bigger than the number of Christians in all of NH! (ok, i made that up, but it could be true!) I find myself praying for revival in the north so often that I finally realized I just need to go! I need to go do exactly what I have learned here over the last 4 years, leverage my life for the gospel. I hate snow, and I have a great job here, and great roommates in a great apartment, but God has confirmed this decision to move over and over again! I know it’s still America, but it’s exactly where God wants me to be to share the gospel…in the snowbanks of NH!  So, I plan on moving up there July 7, to get a job, find a good church, and honestly, just share the gospel with whoever I can!

Thank you so, so much for staying faithful to the gospel and boldly preaching the Word.  I will miss the Summit a LOT!  I will always be praying for the Summit and its leadership! May God continue to bless!
