Not sure even how to intro this, but you’ll thank me for it later. Make sure you watch the news clip ALL THE WAY through, and then the song. This song is now #89 on Billboard’s top hits. I heard that all the money from the song is going 50/50 to the guy in the newsclip and the guy who made it into a song (a substantial amount!) I love America.

I listened to the interview with this young man. He had an interesting perspective on the whole experience. He said the something that could have turned out really bad for his sister became a blessing and the he has created an online support group for other victims.

I hate to suck the fun out of this, but has anyone stopped to think that this came about because an attempted rape took place? I know there is humor in this, but I hate using someone else’s misfortune for amusement.
There is nothing at all funny about this situation or the music video. The victim’s brother seemed very upset ( and rightfully so). When did we start thinking it was funny or okay to make fun of another person’s horrifying experience. Its true everybody needs Jesus which includes those that makes fun of others.

I’m so glad he’s getting the money for this. It’s clear he loves the camera. I hope he rides out his 15 minutes of fame and gets a safer place for his family to live!
P.S. I think it might be really difficult to hide my husband. But darn if I’m not going to give it a shot.
I don’t like the attempted crime but… how Great is it that these “victims” didn’t stay victims for long. This kid lyrically rocked his! They both put it out there for the world to know– I will not be threatened by anyone. Respect that.
